History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: She was born in the west. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is her passion

Personality: She hates orcs. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day.
