History: Silent was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miner. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Birel was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
