History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Ruler.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it
