History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Thomas alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Thomas was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Gimgen never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is her passion.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Astaro has worked very hard to control her curse. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
