Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When Vola reached her early adolescence her Half-Orc mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She now mingles about in high society.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.
