Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy black hair. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He is a Guard first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has worked as a Guard like his mother before him.

Motivation: To be a Gardener again; and he seems to be bored by most things

Description: This slender woman stands about 6'4". She is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. She has a very tight haircut. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Silgre grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Silgre. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: This eastern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She dresses like a well dressed Scribe does. Her golden hair is thinning but still full. Her eyes are likewise brown.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Scribe. She's also a talented Merchant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and wants to open a new tavern
