He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Yevelda was born the youngest of three triplets. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital.
