History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to reunite with his absent father

Description: A stocky darker skinned woman, she is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her chestnut hair is heavily combed to the right. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Marigold is a bit of a follower. History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Sapply will drive conversation. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He tends to his Bookbinder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and balancing his hectic life and new bookbinder responsibilities is difficult

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
