Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Gifted from a young age, Beatrice studied abroad. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A freak accident while working with his Animal Trainer mother left him crippled. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Animal Trainer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Himo was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Marshal responsibilities is difficult; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
