History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Being a Guard kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Umpen grew up listening to his father's many stories. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Carter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Carter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Carter for the past few years.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Stableman arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ralf fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Her white hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: Caelynn speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. After coming to the age of reason, Caelynn took it upon herself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes.
