History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Fabien was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying south to reunite her family. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and revenge

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Through the years after Unvera was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Unvera's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire.
