Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He works hard and plays hard.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Butcher. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Paelias's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Paelias was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety.
