He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Roofer. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sailor they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Roofer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
