When her father died while fighting brigands, the young Avice began to lead the lost caravan. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of a Performer, who enjoyed hunting, Meena was taken on many hunting expeditions. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Kristryd lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
