The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hugolina grew up listening to her father's many stories. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
