History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Rivaan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rivaan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. After coming to the age of reason, Ermina took it upon herself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Actor. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Shepherd and was forced into it by her family; and regain custody of her son

Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Thiala is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She's also a talented Layabout, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Born to a Sailor, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
