Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes drow are coming to abduct people. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Faran hails from a village terrorized by drow. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He's also a talented Navigator, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and doesn't want to be a laborer and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born into a rich family. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he's in love

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He bought a mace and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Mason arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Through the years after Gimgen was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gimgen's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
