Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bellfounder. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Duergath grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gifted student he started as a Barkeep, but he got bored and became a Butcher. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Description: He is a husky man, who is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He has styled his blonde hair well, parting it to the right. His ears are large.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: The child of a Ploughman, who enjoyed hunting, Paggen was taken on many hunting expeditions. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Paggen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off his debts

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She got into the Bowyer business at a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Knight again; and expand her business
