Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Boddynock's homeland. Boddynock decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her.
