History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Katherine grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Bucklal was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. The war was a terrible time for her, and Emerald does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Locksmith they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Hunter, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Hunter and was forced into it by his family; and to protect his home
