Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Mortician business.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her first spouse was a Knight, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Arannis was born with his father's beautiful face. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
