History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She married young, but lost her spouse to gnolls. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
