Description: This fat northern woman has a bulbous nose and is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. She is bald on top and has large brown tufts of hair around her ears. Her blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Rose was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She moved out west to avoid the crime she committed. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and to protect his home
