History: The child of a Cartwright, who enjoyed hunting, Skirt was taken on many hunting expeditions. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Through the years after Manea was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Manea's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Manea and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Revenge; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Boddynock was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Gardener hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He's also a talented Engraver, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
