His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Gardain hails from a village terrorized by drow. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family.
