History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his youth he was a Bookbinder, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. The war was a terrible time for her, and Ubada does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She is a Jackalwere in disguise. When Ubada reached her early adolescence her Half-Orc mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
