History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Ilga was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Interpreter. She became a Interpreter soon after.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Interpreter responsibilities is difficult.

History: Gerard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Tailor they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Doctor, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
