History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Nithther lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and money/treasure
