Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Henk was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Henk grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Henk. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. The war was a terrible time for him, and Akoth does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born into a rich family. When Akoth reached his early adolescence his Half-Orc mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. In her 18th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Gifted from a young age, Giselle studied abroad. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Giselle fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands.
