History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Igden was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She worked as a nervous Guard and found it very stressful. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult.
