History: Born in the east to a Cook, Quarethon learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Being a Cook kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. After a long history of fighting, Nurkara and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She became a Fletcher soon after.
