History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: Reynard hails from a village terrorized by brigands. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Borun was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gifted student he started as a Tanner, but he got bored and became a Engraver. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Crown-heir. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to be a carpenter again
