History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'8" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. His white hair is heavily combed to the left. This gray eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears blue robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a longbow, but if one is not available he will default to his greatsword, and a wedding ring on his left hand. His chestnut hair is long and unkept. His gray eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and wishes to resurrect an old love

History: Leaf was born with her father's beautiful face. She worked as a nervous Butcher and found it very stressful. She was granted divine powers by her dying brother.

She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and retire the richest woman in the south
