Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His childhood dream was to be a Layabout, but he was a colossal failure. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Paggen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he seems to be bored by most things

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. Her black hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her fierce hazel eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She found a children's book about a Human Expert who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: Wants a kiss; and wants her loneliness to end

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. Her brass crest is greasy and uncared for. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving She also has developed a complete distrust of the Bather profession.

History: The child of a Bather, who enjoyed hunting, Megren was taken on many hunting expeditions. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She's also a talented Bather, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and wants to open a new tavern
