History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Portia's homeland. Portia decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She struck the Engraver job and began her own company from there.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
