Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Knight they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Mercenary, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Dreali was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: Ekk hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. At some point she was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
