Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Miller.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Ruler for hire.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Ruler responsibilities is difficult; and seeks redemption
