History: John was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Architect. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Butcher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right.
