However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Mindartis has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
