History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A freak accident while working with her Crown-heir father left her crippled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Eloise's homeland. Eloise decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Eloise fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Ootah was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Ootah was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Ootah's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in the east to a Mortician, Shaká learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Shaká was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Shaká decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
