Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Bernard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: This tall, slender woman wears many layers of old clothing at all times. Her golden hair is singed and shortened. Her eyes are likewise violet.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Mara isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Half-Elven unity. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Mara was born the youngest of three triplets. Her parents were killed by brigands in a raid when she was still a young child. The brigands captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Mara was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Dyer and was forced into it by her family; and to unite with her sister

Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He is renowned for his bright grey suits and hats. With a patchy brown beard and wild brown hair. This hazel eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: She wears a blue cloak and cross-gartered tan stockings. She carries with her a set of rapiers, each one with a amethyst on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her hair is cut close to her head. She is baby faced.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Orc companion (her 'brother'). She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: He wears a brown vest and prefers grey and green shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down, and carries monstrous two handed axes. He wears his brown fur up. He has copper eyes.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Serpent fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.
