History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Therlin is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born in the south to a Sage, Therlin learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She became a Sage soon after.
