He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Akmen hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Sybil alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against goblins.

History: Ozyman was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He tends to his Mortician job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
