History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Vadania was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Through the years after Vadania was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Vadania's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He was born in the west. Paggen was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Locksmith. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Description: He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down, and he perpetually has his ceremonial dagger ready. His golden hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Baker they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Navigator, and he later adopted a second daughter.
