History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: Gerald hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to get a good night's sleep

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and a rival would like him out of the picture
