History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Mason mother left him crippled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Personality: She is a Sellsword first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: Burana lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her first spouse was a Stylist, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city.
