History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Korfel never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Balifra alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Her moppish white hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
