Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Bricklayer. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 2 years.

Motivation: To be a Brewer again; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: She was born in a small desert village. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: This woman is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. She has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized amethyst on her left hand. She has a very tight haircut. She wears a mask on her face.

Personality: Jillian is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Jillian lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and revenge
