History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Great grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
