History: Tomi lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Merchant they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bookbinder, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gifted student she started as a Server, but she got bored and became a Map Maker. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Map Maker for hire.

He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
